Collective(s):

Weaving is a way to connect to my tupuna. As a young girl I watched my grandmother weave, so I followed in her footsteps to connect with her.

My weaving was supported by Senior weavers around me which saw me learn all forms of weaving, but my passion is tāniko and whatu Kakahu/Korowai.

I work with a variety of materials from harakeke through to contemporary fibres. I am a member of Te Roopu Raranga O Aotearoa (National Weavers collective) and run wananga, and workshops.
